This Nexus 800 series white moulded 13A switched socket from British General has a high resistance to fading, discoloration, and scratches, with inherent anti-microbial properties proven to reduce bacterial development and inhibit the growth of infectious diseases. Designed with angled in-line terminals and captive screws for ease of installation, and finished with softly rounded edges and screw caps for a sleek appearance.
 
The BG 800 series white moulded 13A switched socket is a single pole device, rated at 13A. It is designed for easy installation, coming with fixing screws and instructions. The socket features angled, in-line color-coded terminals for quick and straightforward installation, with captive screws to prevent loss and screw covers for a clean appearance.
 
It includes a twin earth facility, complying with BS 7671:2008, and requires a minimum mounting box depth of 25mm. The socket is made from high-grade thermoset Urea, which inhibits the growth of infectious diseases such as MRSA, E-Coli, Salmonella, and Klebsiella Pneumonia. It is certified to BS1363-2 and has an ASTA License number 1012. Additionally, it is IP20 rated and comes with a 30-year manufacturer warranty.
